Managed IT support
A clear place to turn when your business needs IT help
Practical support for users, devices and the systems your business depends on.
01
IT matters to the business, but you do not need an internal department
Your team depends on computers, email, cloud services and internet access. When something goes wrong, work slows down.
Kwik Support is a good fit when staff need a clear support route, recurring problems waste time or devices and systems need better oversight.
- A clear helpdesk route
- Support for users and agreed systems
- Better oversight of recurring issues
- Practical advice and vendor coordination
02
Support for users, devices and agreed systems
The service can cover day-to-day user needs and the technology the business relies on.
The exact work depends on the plan, location and agreed scope.
- Remote user support
- Onsite support where suitable
- Common hardware and software problems
- Business network and connectivity support
- Microsoft 365 and other agreed services
- Technical advice and specialist escalation
03
Support should do more than close a ticket
Some customers only need help when a problem appears. Others want Kwik Support to monitor, manage and improve the environment over time.
We separate these relationships clearly so the level of responsibility is understood.
- Lite for occasional help
- Core for a month-to-month relationship
- Plus for proactive managed IT
- Enhanced for a customised fully managed environment
04
What proactive support means
Proactive support aims to find and address issues before they cause more disruption.
Depending on the agreement, this may include device, server and network monitoring, patch management, routine maintenance, reporting and planned improvements. It does not mean that every fault can be prevented.
05
Business network support
Slow or unreliable connectivity can involve the internet service, router, firewall, wireless coverage, cabling, switching or the device itself.
Kwik Support can investigate the agreed business network, coordinate with relevant providers and recommend changes based on evidence. We do not apply one-size-fits-all network settings without understanding the environment.
- Connectivity and wireless investigation
- Router, firewall and switching review
- Internet-provider coordination
- Network monitoring where included
- Separately scoped upgrades and cabling
06
What fully managed means
With Enhanced, Kwik Support takes day-to-day operational responsibility for the infrastructure and services listed in the customer agreement.
All-inclusive applies only to that agreed scope. It does not transfer ownership of customer equipment or accounts.
- Support and management responsibilities defined
- Security, backup and cloud responsibilities defined
- Service terms matched to the environment
- One provider responsible for the agreed scope
07
Work that may be priced separately
We make the included work, separately billed work and customer responsibilities clear before agreed work starts.
- Hardware, software and licences
- Third-party services
- Large projects and migrations
- Cabling and infrastructure work
- After-hours work or work outside the agreed service area
- Specialist services
Common questions
Clear answers before you commit
Remote support is often the quickest way to help. Onsite support may also be available based on location, scheduling and the plan or quotation.
Core and Plus do not include a general support-time allowance. Lite and Core do not have a service level agreement. Plus and Enhanced service terms are set out in their agreements.
Kwik Support can take over from another IT provider, subject to access, cooperation and a clear handover process.
