A domain is part of the customer's business identity. It needs accurate registration details and timely renewal.
Kwik Support can register, transfer and renew agreed domain names. The domain remains the customer's asset.

DNS records connect a domain to websites, email and other online services.
We manage agreed records and coordinate controlled changes when services move or new systems are added. Important changes follow an agreed approval process.

VPS and cloud server hosting
Some applications and business systems need their own hosted server.
Resources and management are agreed for the workload. Backup, monitoring, patching, security and licensing are included only where the proposal states this.

Experienced second-line help for infrastructure work
Other IT providers engage Kwik Support when they need experienced help with server and infrastructure work outside their immediate capacity or discipline.
The work is scoped around the provider's responsibility to its customer. Remote support can be delivered across South Africa and to customers in the United Kingdom and Germany. Any onsite requirement is separately agreed according to location and scope.

The exact service depends on what the customer chooses. We confirm the service, storage or server resources, management responsibilities, backup arrangements, support scope, billing and renewal terms.
This avoids gaps between the hosting provider, website developer and IT support company.

How hosting fits with managed IT
Hosting and domain services can be provided on their own or alongside an ongoing support relationship.
They are separately scoped unless the agreement says they are included. An Enhanced agreement may include agreed hosting and infrastructure services within its customised scope.
